Kayl and Ken and the McCann team are wonderful - easy to understand and follow. I really like the short lessons and how they are so specific. The facebook group is soooo helpful. I asked a few questions and received quick and good responses. However, being able to read the other people's questions and answers was so great! I feel that Bingo, my lab pup got off to an excellent start! We work every day in short spurts - definitely the way to do it! Our vet tech has trimmed his nails twice and remarked on how good he was. Lots of handling practice paid off! My turn with the clippers soon.... Thanks to you all!

As a first-time dog owner I felt extremely appreciative of such a great online programme. It provided me with exactly what I needed and more: a simple structure, in-depth coverage of all issues that might arise in relation to raising a puppy and, most importantly, an excellent Facebook support group. I can't express my gratitude enough. To be able to pose questions and have them answered professionally, kindly and quickly has helped and reassured me immensely. It is also wonderful to be able to see and interact with other puppy owners who might face similar issues. Particularly at Covid-times to have a very supportive online community was indispensable to me. Thank you so much!

Great information. I have followed along on you tube, but the course goes into more detail especially on crate training and house training.

Great course! It definitely shed light on the Do's and Don'ts for me (first time puppy owner). Its finally nice to have a curriculum outlined of what I need to be learning to teach my puppy in the first few weeks.

There are so many great aspects to this training. Credible, personable and authentic instructors (many), good content progression and overview, easy to follow videos, private facebook group is a good learning tool, repeat access to videos and the live-stream is the kicker...you guys do a great job! Fun to learn and have real-time access to pros that answer all pertinent questions. You guys have a wonderful program. Thank you for this. A 5 star rating from me!!!

I can't stress this enough that I've had people tell me that Shibas are difficult to train and my little pup is now pretty obedient and will listen to me when asked so it's great! If you really want a well trained puppy I would defiantly get this program, it is worth every single penny!

Love how this training course breaks down the tasks to teach both handler and pup how to succeed and build on the foundations. Life is so much better when we understand each other despite obvious communication differences. My pup is so happy she can do what I am asking and I’m not frustrated trying to get her to do it. Would recommend this course to anyone wanting a strong bond with and a well behaved pup. My pup even wants to train, the looks I get when she knows she’s done right is so heartwarming. Out of chaos in the world comes great things. This course and amazing trainers have been a game changer for us. Without the move to online interactions we would never have been able to access such skills and knowledge living on the other side of the world. I can’t recommend the course highly enough. If you think their you-tube channel is great this is next level brilliance.

This is so good: bite-size facts, easy to remember. Wish I had it in "book form" to go over when I can't get to my computer. Really like that I can "repeat" each skill.

I found the content of Puppy Essentials to be clear, positive, reassuring and joyful! I am looking forward to the challenges and adventure of a pup so I can try out what I've learned so far.

I have zero dog training experience and was a bit skeptical of doing the online program. I thought that I was going to be mostly just alone following videos and filling in the gaps where I could with their fantastic YouTube videos. This couldn’t be further from reality. Their online support is fantastic and custom to you and your pup - which you’ll learn is SUPER CRUCIAL as it seems no two people and dogs are exactly alike. The foundations they’ve laid out are excellent and when you come across things that you and your pup are struggling with their online support is 100% there for you. Note that I 100% feel like the course was absolutely needed to get the training right despite all of the YouTube videos and information they give away. There really is so much to dog training. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and their communication skills are excellent. I highly recommend this course and McCann Dog Training. I can only imagine what it’s like to work with these guys in person!!
